The Kurzweil 1000HX is part of the K1000 expander series, which includes the K1000PX, K1000SX, and K1000GX. It includes trumpet, trombone, and saxophone sounds. An HXA expansion ROM was available that added soprano sax, alto sax, baritone sax, and brass stab sounds.
