The Ensoniq Soundscape ELITE is a 16-bit ISA sound card. It was Ensoniq's top-of-the-line MIDI card.
It was released in March 1995 as the follow-up to the Soundscape S-2000. The wavetable synthesizer has 16 channels, 32 notes of polyphony, and 2MB of waveform ROM. It also included the Ensoniq ESP digital signal processor and is powered by a Motorola 68EC000 processor.
The Soundscape ELITE has four CD-ROM interfaces: IDE ATAPI, Mitsumi, Panasonic, and Sony.
