The JV-30 is at the bottom end of the Roland JV series. Its sounds are based mainly on a General MIDI sound set and are derived from the SC-55 Sound Canvas. It is not very sturdy and keys tend to break easily. It uses a standard CR2032 lithium battery for its memory backup.
