The JP-8000 is a virtual analog synthesizer. It was a direct competitor to other first-generation virtual analog synthesizers such as the Yamaha AN1x, Korg Prophecy, and Clavia Nord Lead. It was available in rackmount form as the Roland JP-8080.

The JP-8000 was very popular, and was used by dozens of popular artists. It is known to have been used by Solar Fields, Groove Armada, The Crystal Method, and Snarky Puppy.
