The MU90R is a 1U rack version of the Yamaha MU90 module. It is a ROMpler with a sound engine that is based on AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) and has Yamaha XG, TG300B, and XG modes. It has two A/D inputs and its built-in effects can be applied to incoming audio sources, making it usable as a standalone effects processor.

The MU90R is powered with an external PA-3B power adapter.
