The MU90 is a ROMpler with a sound engine is based on AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) and has Yamaha XG, TG300B, and XG modes and is meant to be powered with a Yamaha PA-3B adapter. The MU90 is also available in full-rack form as the Yamaha MU90R.
