Synths ⇝ E-Mu ⇝ E-Mu Expansion ROMs

These ROMs can be used to expand the various E-Mu rack modules. Modules that support ROM expansion include the MK-6, PK-6, XK-6, Vintage Keys, Ensoniq Halo, MP-7, PX-7, XL-7, Proteus 1000, Proteus 2000, Proteus 2500, Xtreme Lead-1, Turbo Lead, Mo'Phatt, Turbo Phatt, Virtuoso 2000, Orbit 3, Vintage Pro, Planet Earth, and B3.

Each ROM has two associated numbers - the product number, which is in the 9000's, and an assembly number, which is a one-or-two-digit number. Some products have more than one assembly variant depending on which hardware they shipped with.

Some ROMs require an updated OS in order to be recognized. For instance, version 2 of the XROM will not be recognized in a Proteus 2000 with OS version 1.05, but it will be recognized with OS version 2.26.

9061: Siedlaczek Advanced Orchestra special Edition 32MB

9062: Pure Phatt 32MB (ships in Mo' Phatt, Turbo Phatt, MP-7 and MK-6) There are slight variations -- the PHATT ROM (#13) has more beats, while the MP-7 ROM (#15) has more kits.

9089: X-Lead 32MB (ships in Xtreme Lead-1 and XL-7) The XL-1 ROM shows up as XLEAD (#06), while the XL-7 ROM shows up as XL-7 (#14)

9140: Pop Collection (ships in PK-6). This ROM is similar to the Composer ROM.

9141: X-Lead 32MB v2 (ships in XK-6) The v2 version of the XROM ROM (#18) has 5 preset banks, while the v1 versions have 4.

9904: Composer 32MB (ships in Proteus 2500 and Proteus 2000, and Proteus 1000) There are slight variations -- the Proteus 2000 CMPSR ROM (#01) has 8 preset banks, while the Proteus 2500 ROM (#20) has 4 banks.
