The MKS-70 is a rackmount version of the Roland JX-10, which is an analog synthesizer that contains dual JX-8P engines. It can save 50 patches to a Roland M-64C cartridge and can be programmed with a Roland PG-800 programmer. This synthesizer and its JX siblings are the last analog synthesizers that Roland produced in the 20th century due to the fast growth of capabilities and demand for digital synthesizers that could produce more realistic instrument sounds.
