Manufactured from 1970 until 1982, the MiniMoog is a three-oscillator monophonic synthesizer with a 44-key keyboard and a 4-pole 24dB/octave lowpass filter with cutoff, resonance, ADSR envelope generator, and keyboard tracking. The MiniMoog's filters are legendary and it is often highly sought after for bass and lead sounds.
The MiniMoog is known to have been used by 808 State, Add N To (X), Air, Blondie, Chick Corea, Depeche Mode, Keith Emerson, Future Sound of London, George Duke, Herbie Hancock, Jan Hammer, Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Mouse on Mars, Gary Numan, Nine Inch Nails, Recoil, Rush, The Chemical Brothers, Tangerine Dream, The Orb, Uberzone, Vince Clarke, and Rick Wakeman.
