The K2000 synthesizer is based on V.A.S.T., which stands for Variable Architecture Synthesis Technology. It is a multi-algorithm engine that includes a number of different synthesis techniques.
It has many expansion options. It can add sampling capabilities via an option board and can install additional waveforms with expansion boards such as the Orchestral ROM.
The K2000 is available in rackmount form as the K2000R.
