The Wavestation is a synthesizer based on vector synthesis and waveform ROM. It has a joystick used for morphing through sounds over time and can create some very complex evolving tones.
In addition to realtime adjustments, it can also record changes in the position of the joystick over time as a "wave sequence". The Wavestation's wave sequencing capabilities are 96 wave sequences and 1500 wave sequence steps. The EX expansion can be installed to double its wave ROM.
