The Korg MS-50 synthesizer is a keyboard-less expander module and was meant to be controlled by a MS-20 or MS-10 via the CV/gate connection. It has a single analog oscillator, ring modulation, and sample-and-hold.
It is known to have been used by The Chemical Brothers.
