The AX80 is an analog subtractive synthesizer and was the first synth released by Akai. It has two oscillators per voice plus a sub-oscillator. It also has 3 LFOs and standard analog VCAs and VCFs and supports basic MIDI. A similar 6-voice synthesizer was later released as the Akai AX60.
