The MC-909 sampling groovebox ships with 16MB of sample RAM and is upgradeable to 272MB. It can also be expanded with one SRX-series expansion board. It was released before the MC-808 and could be considered the flagship model of the Roland MC-series grooveboxes and the follow-up to the MC-505.
