The Roland MC-808 is an all-in-one groovebox with a built-in sampler. It is meant to be a higher-end option than the MC-303 and MC-505 machines.

It has more polyphony and sample RAM than its predecessor, the MC-909, but is not compatible with SRX-series expansion boards. It is the first Roland groovebox with motorized faders.
