The Alesis DM6 module is sold as part of the DM6 entry-level electronic drum kit. Rather than individual drum trigger inputs, it has a 25-pin D-sub connector and uses a breakout snake to connect to individual drum pads. It also lacks hardware MIDI connectors, but can transmit MIDI to a computer via USB.
The full kit came with a kick pad with stand and pedal, a hi-hat pedal controller, an 8" dual-zone snare, three 8" single-zone pads (toms), and three 12" single-zone cymbal triggers.
