The Korg Prophecy is an early virtual analog synthesizer powered by the Multi-Oscillator Synthesis System (MOSS), the same DSP technology that powered the Korg OASYS system that later came out as the OASYS PCI card. In addition to analog, it also includes FM and plucked string physical modeling with seven oscillator types in total.

It uses a standard CR2032 lithium battery for its patch memory. Additional patches can be stored on a Korg SCR-512 RAM card.
